Hello Everyone!
Well being that this is my first post, I will have to introduce myself properly:
My name is David, and I'm a Mustang-aholic....(who is considering switching sides.
)
I have been the proud owner of a 2007 Mustang GT for over 2.75 years. She is a garage queen with only 8,900 miles on her. I ordered her to the EXACT specifications that I wanted. She is as perfect a Mustang as I could have imagined. I have even built an old one in the past (pic attached).
Subsequently, I have been following the Camaro's development (and lurking on your site) for nearly the same amount of time. And I have to tell you, I am really
loving this car. I, as maybe one of the few, am not a Ford loyalist, Chevy Bashing, moron. I respect all Muscle Cars and love that the pony wars are back (even though they may not last as long this time). I am considering trading in my passion for something new and out of the box for me, and it seems that the Camaro is hitting all the right chords....except 1.
I can't decide what I want! The fact the V6 has the same amount of horses as my Ford v8??? That's awesome! I could buy a totally loaded 2LT/RS for a little under what I paid for the Mustang and have nearly the same amount of power...... BUT, for a little more money, I can have a monster..... BUT may not be able to afford the fully decked out deal in the 2SS trim.
I am struggling with the idea of settling. I do not want to trade what is perfect for something that is close. I want the 2LT appearance with the bigger engine, but I can't have both without shelling out for it.
I guess I am reaching out to your community and asking for some guidance. Maybe some suggestions. I have test drives scheduled in the next week at my dealership to feel both out and decide from there. Have any of you driven both? What is your thoughts?
