We got to do a test drive comparison between the Mustang and Camaro "by accident"...
We live in NY, but were picking up the Camaro in Virginia...we bought the Camaro from a dealer/friend who had moved away yrs ago from NY to VA...
Anyway, we took Amtrak from NY to DC and rented a car to drive to the dealer to pick up the Camaro...long story, short, when we went to pick up the rental car, the rental agent asked if we wanted to take the 2010 Mustang V8 for the same price as the original, cheaper car we had reserved for the short trip to Virginia...it would cost the same...
"Hell yeah", we said...SO we got to do a "real time" test drive of both vehicles and the Camaro won, HANDS DOWN!!!...Thank God!!!...can you imagine our shock and disappointment if things had worked out the opposite???...
The Camaro felt a lot more comfortable and had a much softer and smoother ride...the Mustang V8 was just as fast as our Camaro V6...the Camaro was "all that" and more...the Camaro felt roomier too and the interior was far superior, IMHO...
Buy the Camaro, you will not regret it!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
I'm sure you will have no trouble selling the Mustang as it looks "mint"...
