If you feel you HAVE to meet with them, don't drive the Camaro to the meeting!! Please post back, we are very interested in the conversation that ensues.
But for the life of me, I can't conceive why you go back and meet with them???

The trump card for this dealer is the fact that although they collected the money & deposited it (smart move on their part), they probably have made no move to register the car in her name. This process is not a given when you pay the dealer, it is an anticipated expection that the dealer is going to do the right thing. We all know that the seemingly endless number of variables that these dealers can come up with to rip you off are incalcuable. Don't be naive enough not to realize this fact. They are pros at this, and you can't beat them. My advice to anyone who suspects they are lucky to leave the dealer with the car & their wallets is to take all the paperwork with them & register the car & title it themselves. This will be an inconvenience, but it will give you piece of mind that you got what you paid for.
