Are you saying that a 530hp Camaro will come in around $36K just cause it has a Camaro name? An average priced Vette is more like $50K+ new. A $40K'ish priced 500+hp Camaro seems like the only logical guess for that kind of powerplant it will have and also considering that it's probably going to have upgraded suspension, brakes, and exterior features. That doesn't make it "Shelby" It makes it a "Shelby killer". $40K is not too much to ask for a top of the line Camaro. Sure it's never been that high priced before, but it also hasn't been that high powered. Back in the day they charged $3K more for 20hp, a hood scoop, spoiler and some SS emblems. This would be a whole other animal from past versions so why wouldn't it cost alot more?
