i would have to check the history but i am pretty sure they had a 2.5L 4 cyl. from '82-'85 that only produced a little over 100hp...... big difference from todays 2.0TDI.....
Just remembered that Pontiac is coming out with the Solstice Coupe GXP that will have the 2.0TDI putting out 300hp.....this could be used instead of the 260 hp 2.0TDI and the 302hp 3.6DI
