Yes the LSA would put the Camaro HP/Tq #s in the Corvette range. Based on body Suspension differences it wouldn't be a performace hit for the Vette.
In addition, it wouldn't be the 1st or 3rd time a Camaro has had power #s in line with Vettes. Remember in '09 the Vette (ZR1) gets the LS9 with 638hp.
also,
Can anyone find any docs on the '09 Solstice with a 300hp T4?
according to the 03/08 R&T the '09 GXP still shows a 260hp 2L T4

Even though the 6.2L SC would have more power than the base vette, it would still be outmanouvered at the track.. that is why a 6.2L SC should be limited production ( a la ZL1)
For the 300hp Solstice.... look up the Pontiac press release for the Solstice Coupe GXP... you may find it on gm.com
here you go

So I will now revise my speculation to ...
Base Camaro = 2.0TDI w/ 260hp
Camaro RS = 2.0TDI w/+300hp
Camaro Z/28 = 6.0 w/ 368hp
Camaro SS = 6.2 w/ 436hp
Camaro ZL1 = 6.2SC w/ 568hp (limited)
