Corvette owners wave at each other no matter what. Everyone just does it, it's like motorcycle riders.
I've tried it with the camaro and come up empty every time, they just look at me like I got a d**k growing out of my forehead, so I assumed it just wasn't done. Good to know this is a contentious issue
