Don't confuse honing and boring. Boring is when you enlarge the cylinder bore for bigger pistons. Honing is when you slightly rough up the cylinder walls with a cross hatch pattern. You likely don't need to bore the cylinders unless they are out of round, or are screwed up in some way.

Jayrcr3 is exactly right, two completely different things. If the walls aren't scored or scratched you should still hone the block to make sure its cleaned up properly. If you go to a larger piston it will need to be bored and honed.
When you get the rotating assembly apart send me pics of everything so we can look it all over.
