Since it's easy to buy the engine, computer, wiring and all the bolt on parts from a Z28 for a 2010+ Camaro, what would be much more difficult is the weight saving strategy like absence of wiring, thinner window glass, sound deadening material and of course the brake and suspension package pieces...and you still wouldn't get the collector car benefit. If they do limit to 1500, I would suspect a person might get most of their investment back after 3-4 years. JMHO

North of the price of a ZL1 for an OEM car might be the most economical way to build a Z28.
