A new driver should not have a high horsepower cars for their first car. Many of us on this board can tell you many stories of young kids who have either seriously hurt themselves or killed themselves because they lacked the experience and respect of driving a performance vehicle.
Numerous studies have shown young age and high horsepower is not a good mix.
