When it all came about, I was in a class at my workplace in Lexington, KY covering some new software we were rolling out. We had taken a break and I hopped out to Fox and CNN and was slammed with the pictures. I yelled out to everyone (class of 15 or so) to log in and look.
Later that afternoon my wife and I had a doctor's appt. for our 1st ultrasound of our son that was born in March, 2002. All the while in the waiting room people were just watching the television in awe, just dumbstruck as to the events as they were occurring.
My day was filled with emotion. I felt completely drained after the horror and sadness for the people of NYC...the fear, anger, and confusion over who would do that act...as well as the joy and happiness of seeing my son in my wife's belly. I was truly spent.
