So remove 800 from there. On the L99 you still need to either do an LS3 conversion or run a VVT cam. Then hope to find a tuner that competent with tuning the VVT.

Dennis Pm Rhino and he will tell you exactly what a VVT cam upgrade will cost. What you have to have, and what are optional upgrades. It's not quite as bad as you think.
You can go LS3 conversion and go with a bigger cam, or u can stay VVT and use the benefits of the VVT cam phaser to have the ability to advance and retard timing throughout the curve.
Rhino can help you tune it if you have access to just upload his tune.
