OP, I would advise you against hanging anything too heavy from your keys. 2 of my relatives have needed to replace the ignition lock cylinder in their cars because they had heavy things hanging on their key rings. Just keep in mind all that weight just hangs on the ignition lock cylinder.
I don't know if this would happen in a new Camaro, I'm just offering up my 2 cents...for what it's worth.
