Here's another little known tidbit, Last March, Sunday morning made some absolute glory runs.... Weather conditions have never been better...
It blew in a big cold front that morning about 5:00, winds were 20-30 gusting to 40 straight down track... and the track surface was still warm... So, good winds, pretty good traction, and cold pretty dry air...
I know several people that made 5-10 mph runs faster than they ever had... Due to the weather.... And yes, I did meet and talk with Sam for a bit... I've also seen him struggle getting one of the cars he built down the track... It happens to all builders....

I am a happy customer of them both, I am not trying to stir any pots I know these records are serious stuff tons of money for sure. I plan on building mine for the mile later on. Sorry if it seems like i got hot there its just I go by what they told me and both are honest people.
