agreed. especially when it's raining out and the bottom of your foot gets wet. the rubber on rubber when you're wearing sneakers not only makes an awful squeaking noise, but they can alternately slip/grab when your foot slides and hits wet then dry spots on your shoe. I put on the aluminum racing pedals shown below and they're way more consistent in all conditions. I love 'em. $130 well spent.
