Brand New 2008 Corvette Coupe $42,998 w/3.99%apr for 60 months
Dealers that "Deal" can get you one for 40k.

Again just for fun based on the comments from GM employees, Kelley Blue Book, and Ford pricing,
MSRP (Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price)
Camaro V6 starting at: $23,175
Camaro V8 starting at: $29,715

Chevrolet Dealers and GM will offer the usual discounts and incentives off of these prices when volume hits the lots.

2008 V6 Mustangs can be picked up right now for $18,550 here in California.
2008 Shelby GT500 can be found for $44,425, if you know the right dealer.

Using Ford's Mustang GT Premium: MSRP $28,215 + $15,999.00 for the Shelby motor = $44214 (close to MSRP).
You can get the motor from here: http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts...tKeyField=9560

Same exercise with Camaro using really ballpark figures: Camaro V8 starting at: $29,715 + $12,999.00 for an LS7 = $42,714.00 (No LSA yet sorry)

Of course this was all in fun, nobody knows the LSA price yet, and Ford's SVT pricing makes the Corvette look like the deal of a lifetime!
