Honestly If you are considering dipping your entire car, i would suggest doing it yourself. Yes you should practice on smaller things such as emblems, rims, badges, spoilers, even your hood. you dont have to be an expert painter or have a paint booth to make this look great. Just make sure you prep your car well. Preping before you paint is by far the most important part. I have dipped a lot of things and was strongly considering become an installer but dont have the time or money to run my own shop. You can buy the car kit on dipyourcar.com for less then $400 I believe. The only reason I havent dipped my entire car is because as soon as you open your trunk, doors, or hood you will see your actual cars color. Yes you can dipp all of those things but the amount of prep work to get every jam/seem would be too time consuming. Just depends on what you want. One very important thing to remember, the more layers you apply the easier it will be to remove. I promise the last thing you want to do is sit scrubbing your rims, becuase you only put 1 or 2 layers. I have seen this too many times with my friends and coworkers. They see my car, and love how it looks, and try it but put it on too thin or un even. Just watch a couple vidoes on the site. Pay attention to fonzi's technique and i proimse it will trun out pretty good even for your first time. Good luck and have fun. Its more addictive then you think. I have had my wheels, spoiler, emblems, and badges dipped for almost 9 months now. washed my car every other week. mostly hand wash but sometimes pressure washed and never had the stuff come off until i wanted it too. Pulled of my badges the other day to see how it looked underneath. Looked just as good as new.
