U guys are paranoid. Launch control is just for people that cant feather a clutch. Its not like the trans wasn't designed to take max torque of the engine, its just that there is a problem with a few units. More than likely a heat treating issue.
Put good sticky tires on your cars and you will break all kinds of crap such as half shafts.
Drag racing and IRS do not mix, and your Pirelli tires will go up in smoke at every stop light if it wasn't for electronics.
