See above. That means you have a TPW of 7/20 (this week) and you SHOULD get built this week. Keep checking and you may get a VIN soon! Congrats! BUT, you may not if you orderd M6 SS. You are close though. Hang in there! Well, you were likely misled as your dealer is just not to up on the way it works. It DOES NOT take 5 days to build the car. I believe its 1-2 days depending on when pieces actually start coming together. When I was at bowling green tour, I think it only takes about 3 days to build a Corvette and thats 8 hours 5 days a week with very few robots. BG is an assembly plant only though. Like a big model car. They just put the parts together, they don't fab anything really. Anyhow, if you are still 3400 today, it was not built. It may be inline and then you will be 3800 with a VIN very soon.
Yes, thats the old system of allocations which they are switching. Camaro allocation is based on total sales. Small volume dealer gets few Camaro allocations, regardless of # of orders. The new system which they may have started and your dealer is an idiot (oh where's that smiley) and does not know is first in first out type deal meaning you have a sold order, you get the car. This will stop the useless time in allocation limbo.
Hope I helped you all.

So, they are going to start the first order, first build progam?
If the do, will they take the older orders and start building them first?
