Someone notes on here the difference in steering input. Look at Dominic Farnbacher's record run in the Viper...it was violent ALL THE TIME, in the limiter, over the strips with one tire in the grass, BARELY SAVING IT and on a dry track. Is the z/28 that much better engineered that you don't need to do that?....OR....is the violent style the kind of driving you need on a dry track to be in the 20s? See also the recent Porsche Spyder run...a bit less violent but still violent. Both guys are pro drivers...NOT employees of the company and I believe both are German and both have tons of hot shoe hours on the ring. I am not taking away anythign from this run and I think he did the best he could with the dampness...just speculating. They should shave given him 6 points and a hans at minimum...the belts would have helped I'm sure.
