You should check to see if someone near you has this hood so you can sit in their car. I had a 3 inch cowl induction hood on my Mustang. I needed it to clear a large intake. It looked cool and worked fine but created a huge blind spot while driving on the street. With the restricted view out of a Gen 5 Camaro I could not image trying to look over a hood that is 2 to 3 inches taller. If your car will not be street driven and only be drag raced then nevermind.
Just something to consider....
