I'm down to a few cars and am now considering going out of state to expand my search. Pretty much down to a ZL1, M3, CTS-V (Id like the wagon), maybe waiting to see the ATS-Vs, and if all the planets were to align a used GT-R. Im thinking a ZL1 actually might be the cheapest of the group it purchased new unless I could find a 2013 CTS-V.
I orded a 2012 and all the local dealerships wanted over MSRP. I found a allocation at russell chevrolet in AR on this board. ordered the car@msrp and had it set up for courtesy delivery.

then the 2012 alocations got cut back. I got pushed to 2013 so I bartered them down to supplier price cause I got hosed. Got built the first week of 2013 production the car got drop shipped to lassen in albany oregon.

got the car for $55,700. Lassen charged me $200 for the courtesy delivery.

moral of my story I always tell peopel is try to find a large dealer with good alocations then just have the car courtesy delivered. what screwed me was I was number 3 of 4 for 2012 and when they cut back Russel lost 3 and 4. had I called 1 hour earlier and been number 2 I would have got my car in may but paid 2k more ha ha. So I took delivery in july but saved 2k all in all.
