I'm sure GM will take the cues from Ford (mustang bullet edition) and Chrysler (top banana, copperhead etc) and do some runs of 1000 cars at a time with some special aftermarket stuff later on to freshen up the interest when it finally slows down. Right now they're just too busy building what they already offer.
Lots of heads at the top of GM are turning due to the interest this car is getting and the great sales numbers during these hard times. They're not going to let this golden goose get away! And they're not going to let the product line get stale despite having disbanded the performance team. The next couple years of updates should be real interesting for us all.
It can get nothing but better.....
