I did it with jack stands, no problem. As far as not wanting to cut anything, make sure you have room behind the car to remove the entire length of the exhaust (it was tight backed into the garage). Most cat backs I've seen replace the stock exhaust straight up, no changing parts. You will re-use the clamp between the factory h pipe and the cat back. Use some penetrating lube on the rubber hangers and have a beer while it soaks in. It makes life a ton easier trying to slide them off. Other than that, just take your time and tighten everything to spec with that handy-dandy torque wrench (a must for any garage mechanic) and enjoy the new sound! Good luck.
