Well, since I couldn't make it to the Texas Mile, I still went racing, even though the SS is in the shop. Atlanta Dragway hosted a charity event for the Humane Society and a no-kill shelter, and naturally I couldn't resist.
It's all about the puppies.
So I raced my 2013 ChevyVolt.
And I think I set a record. Motor Trend's time is 16.9 sec @ 84.3 mph.
I ran 16.697 @ 83.72! 2.703 sixty! Full weight! Unmodified!
Yes, my Volt is the only car I've ever owned that I have not modified!
Naturally, I have video. Since the Volt is by nature a tamer beast than the SS, I changed the music.
