The midpipe and short header were then held together with a V-clamp. See post #81 this thread. Doug Thorley's short header is similar, but they just weld up to the shortened midpipe- perhaps JBA has decided that's the best way to go if you're not gonna provide a traditional "bolt together" flange like they do for their V8 headers.
