So because Ford didnt play the Al O. game and come out to boast about being faster than its primary competitor at a track on the other side of the world there is no way the GT500 could have been faster than the ZL1 = Camaro5logic

I agree with the majority here, this is not an official timed video, it is very likely there is a timing error.

someone please correct me if I am wrong, but I do not recall Ford ever publicly saying anything about the Mustang/GT/BOSS/BOSS LS/GT500 being faster than comparable Camaro variant. GM and Al O. on the other hand specifically targeted the mustang variants publicly.

The only "performance" measurable I remember Ford publicly stating is the 200+MPH claim which is still yet to be proven. Someone please correct me if I am wrong and Ford said Mustang model X is faster than Camaro model.

Also, Ford has never released ring times, make what you will of that. They either arent happy with them, or don't value it as a marketing tool as much as GM does
