I spoke to an Onstar stolen car techie and asked the question, "can the car be tracked if it is not turned on and someone uses a roll back to steal it?"
"Yes, but . . . it depends," was the answer.
It seems that after an amount of time, think it was 72 hours or so, the system goes on 'sleep mode' so as not to drain the battery.
Don't lose sleep over it . . .drive it with a smile !
