Our intake still picks up air from the same area as the stock intake. In addition, air enters through the various open areas of the inner fenderwell. If you pull your stock air box, you can see the gaps and openings. That's one of the reasons we went with this style of air box instead of a box with one inlet area as we do on some other applications. All of the air is indirect; therefore, its important to pull cool air from as many sources as possible. While doing so, it's extremely important to prevent the hot engine and radiator air from entering the filter.
