Sure, they'll say my car is cool and maybe want a ride if I offer it but some of the stuff I'm hearing in this thread? Heeeeelll to the no, and it's not like I'm an eyesore either, lol.
I don't think it's the car itself by what she explains though, it's the same as if you see a person dressed sharply, you may not be able to recognize the brand they're wearing but you can acknowledge that they look sharp and have good taste. A clean, good looking sports car shows that someone has a bit of responsibility and good taste, and that they got a fun side to them. Yeah I agree most people in general may not be able to tell a V6 from a V8, but they can appreciate that the Camaro is a good looking car and you have good tastes for having one.
