I remember the days when it was "Made in the USA" but of course lawyers screwed that all up, now it has to be made 51% or more to have that USA Label. Although I gotta give credit to the corporate lawyers that greased the political palms so now even if its built in Mexico or Canada it can state "Made in America". Of course a decade later and more greasing of the palms that "Made in America" also includes South America. Just wouldn't of sounded right "Made in the Americas".

Normagene,
Not necessarily a flame onto you but since you stated it already. Why exactly wouldn't "made in the Americas sounds okay". The last time I checked most people doing the grunt work here in the United States are immigrants? America is not just the United States. That's the main problem the USA has always had, people that haven't traveled the world still have that we are better than you because we are the USA. We are behind in commerce, education, and health coverage. When you watch other countries news broadcasts they have world news related to the whole world. The USA is all about us, that's why we look so bad to others sometimes when we travel due to standing out so easily! I seem to recall it as one America before it was divided up? NAFTA ring a bell at all?
Just for the record before the flag waving starts, I volunteered and served in the military after Vietnam that was good enough for me.
