Is it that hot or do you still get cold air out of your AC?
Still get cold AC. I just notice a flat spot in power from a dead stop.

The IAT's would sky rocket in the staging lanes and would not return to normal until after my run was done. I have no proof to back it up but I truly think that I would have run faster at the track with the stock intake. It was pulling that much timing from inaccurate IAT's. It is a MONSTER from a roll though. Probably the best or maybe second only to the Vararam from a highway roll. I think this CAI could have been one of the very best if it had been made of plastic and they moved the IAT/MAF sensor a little further away from the TB.
If I had it to do over again it would have been ADM race with scoop or a Vararam CAI.
Exactly. The intake makes serious power if you're already rolling. I love the intake most of the time. Plastic would have been a good idea. It looks to me like the IAT sensor reacts slowly like a normal thermometer. That heat soak takes a minute to go away if my logs are correct.
