Nope. You'd think GM would tack on the 20 bucks it would take to do that onto the price of the car and call it a day, but nope, we're out of luck.

I too am more worried about bad stuff going into my tank than good stuff coming out.

If they want your gas, as someone else said they'll probably go straight for the tank now. Like any other crime prevention, the key is to make yourself a less appealing target than something else. So park next to some massive lifted SUV with a nice big tank sitting high off the ground and you'll be good. The guy who parks next to me used to keep his GPS unit mounted on his windshield overnight. It always made me feel safer, since any would-be thief would go straight for his car and ignore mine.
