With the Chevy SS they mated the LS3 with a 6L80 auto trans. Best of both worlds. The SS is not available in manual trans at this point in time, only auto. There is a GG Tax of $1300 that goes with the car. The LS3 they are using, is rated at 415hp/415tq. They are being dynoed at 360rwhp/368rwtq ... I kinda think they under rated the power by 20-25 hp/tq.
