Deep cycle batteries usually have reduced CCA versus same sized starting batteries. Their only benefit is they tolerate being drained better. With the sound system in our boat with big sub woofer etc, I was recommended inserting a capacitor inline. The capacitors work like a battery in that they store some juice, but release it when needed very quickly.
