Well normally most people think of bolt on's as external parts ! like my car everything is bolt on,but the cam...anytime you remove metal from a part its not a bolt on,its modified,changed to the point where it can no longer go back to what it was before.....a blower is not normally consider a bolt on,as of all the other parts that have to be installed on the car to go with it...that being said its not blk and white because they do make a complete kit that's all in one which could be considered a bolt on part....
The term bolt on's normally just means minor performance improving parts,but If you wanted to be silly about it,any part that has a bolt used with the installation of said part is just that,a bolt on part...heck a water pump is a bolt on part if it pumps more water than the part it replaces...
