I can understand where there is slight confusion; however in my opinion, it is not enough to validate your argument. An engine will run perfectly well without a supercharger, whether it came stock or not. And in the case of the heads comparison, good luck running an engine without heads. Therefore, if the part (supercharger in this case) is not essential for the engine to run, it is not "the engine". With that being said, if the supercharger is not "the engine" then modifying it would easily fit into "modified airway" and into the bolt-on description.

Let's be honest here, you are only bringing up this argument because the ZL1 in the number 2 spot on the Fast List is quickly approaching your time - your number one spot. And you want to simply discredit his eligibility in the bolt on category. My advise, stop debating semantics; go run your car. If you want to be the best, you have to bet the best.

Good points made and taken. I just wanted to confirm these mods as "bolt ons" and I surely don't want to mod something that would discredit myself if I decided to use ported supercharger parts. I could bolt lightweight wheels/skinnies on my car if I wanted an extra tenth. Everything I am arguing is to confirm without a doubt that our cars have been placed in the appropriate category given the mods present.
