The dealer told me that with today's engines there is little to no metal shavings and with the synthetic oil used in the Camaro it is not needed, when I read that the OLM dictates the oil change it was a little concerning for me since it states to change at least once a year if not indicated by th OLM. My car is not a daily driver prbably around 8 k a year, but a good 8 k, maybe a few road trips in the fall but like I said just want to be sure I currently have only 556 miles and about a month old, but plan on keeping this car for a very long time and want to make sure I take care of it and since I have a 7yr 100000 mile warranty I do not want to void it
