Dude, not be the devil's advocate but GM did need several billion dollars from the US government to stay afloat. I do agree with you though that for a 30k investment everyone should have done a thorough homework. I spent 3 months across four states to find the deal I wanted. It takes time, but it is worth cutting the red tape. There was hell no way that I was going to pay 5k above MSRP even if the car is on demand.

On another note. The car is gorgeous, and if you find a good dealer you can get your car 8 to 12 weeks from when you order.
