OP, I have to agree with BriteCrawler.
I wouldn't post anything else on the forum until you speak to a lawyer or get the situation resolved. Anything said on here could be used against you in a court of law.
Your lawyer will most likely recommend filing suit against the employee for damages, and since he was employed by the dealer, they will probably be liable for his mistakes.
I haven't freshened up on my business law, but I'm fairly certain this isn't the first time something like this has happened at a dealership.
