This is going to be one of those threads that doesn't lead to a black and white answer... go with whichever company seems to have the best presence in your area AND what your tuner/installer is comfortable with. With that being said...
Both companies use T304 Stainless Steel mandrel bent, stainless hardware, fit like a glove, 3/8" thick CNC flanges that are perfect seal and barely need gaskets... both don't have any problem with retaining heat to the front o2's (as opposed to non thick-stainless companies).
If this were my car, I would install ONLY Kooks and/or American Racing Headers because they're the only two companies I trust for fitment, quality, and customer service.
We've installed and sold both and they're both 5 stars across the board, and thats an honest reccommendation. Nick nor George are sending me a check to say that! :P But they are accepted! LOL
We just installed a few sets of Kooks on the 2010 platform and are anxious to try out the new ARH system soon!!
