I'm sure for those who have waited to work a deal until pricing was released, using something called "initiative" they can hit the phones now and still work an in-writing MSRP deal.

If you are unwilling to lay the groundwork, then you haven't earned the right to avoid being gouged with a mark up.

Simply having a strong sense of entitlement doesn't gain you any benefits in society.

Whining and complaining is making you look...like whiners and complainers.

I don't think anybody was whining about dealer mark-up. Hell, garbage dealers can mark-up all they want...people will just car shop somewhere else. When my Dad was looking for a 2012 ZL1, he went to dozens of dealers near Pittsburgh. Everybody was asking $10-15k over sticker. They all told him he'd never find one at sticker. He told them all to stick it in their ass. I finally found him one in Indiana (5 hours away). He called them, they offered him $500 under MSRP, he then drove there and bought it the next day. Some dealers gouge, some don't. I won't do business with shady dealers. Plain and simple. If people would refuse to buy from these crummy dealers, they'd get the idea and quit gouging. Some dopes just have more money than brains. "Yea, sure...I'll pay you $100k for a $75k car.".
