For an X pipe vs H pipe the only real difference again is just flow. It is obviously easier to balance the flow through an X then through an H. Hp from one vs the other is really going to be nill. The X pipe is going to be louder especially if it is catless. An H pipe is going to have more gurgle and pop on the overrun.
