Just talked to a racing freind of mine. Do you know a guy named John Rhodes? Not a pro but been drag racing all his life. He was just now saying the same thing as you. He's talking about cooling the motor down before I run and stuff like that. He said that he deals in hundredths of a second and how he can 'feel' if he'll have 75 hundredths of a second off. WTF?
I don't want my front wheels leaving the ground. He can have that.
But he did agree that I should be able to just punch it and if the wheels hook up good I shouldn't be a full second slow. I don't have time to get into racing. Even just a little. I just want my frekin' car to beat a stock Mustang GT when I want to.
