NOW, the next one then what? GM just set a precedence. Now GM is a piece of shit any time they don't jump in and foot the bill for some dumb asses joy ride any mistake by a dealer. OR anything else similar. That's what has happened here. At some point we came to the place that said we get to consider our cars at fort knox any time we drop them off anywhere. We get to absolve ourselves of all problems relating to the car until we pick it up. And of course you have a whole bunch of people who know how to run a business that know full well giving people brand new cars from damaged new ones is a requirement.
I know for a fact that if this HAD been a fire, tornado or ANY other occurance that people would still say it was in the dealers care so the dealer has to pay.
2 different philosophies I suppose.
