How can you call this a smear campaign? He was wronged by the dealership and he's exercising his right to express his fustrations on a forum that will lead him on to a path to discover if he was correct in his assessment...so far a large majority of people feel that he is correct in his assessment. Obviously you took a higher road because you felt sorry for the owner's son because of his inexperience. As long as you were satisfied with the results, you shouldn't be complaining.

I also think you're situation is a BIT different from this situation.
