This would all depend on what might be written into a local ordnance.
If the property owner wants something like that enforced, the police can give you a ticket.
Friend of mine was busted doing a burnout on a private lot. $500 ticket, and his lawyer told him he wouldn't win if he fought it.
They caught him and had video of it. He paid the fine.
You can't just automatically assume you can do what you want on a private lot.
You will lose that argument in most cases if you are caught.
Oh, and just because that McDonalds employee told you to go ahead doesn't mean much either, as he isn't the property owner.
