The rev limiter does not put the car in limp mode. That sounds like either the P0068 airflow MAF/TPS correlation, or something else in the tune. It would not "reset" back to 6200RPM rev limiter, that is not correct..
You have HPtuners? email me the file.. Short of a mechanical issue, this seems like it is all in the tune. Also this is pretty amateur part of any big airflow tuning (FI/Big cube NA, etc.) so that should have been taken care of and does not need to be "cracked"
