Obviously the mention of the z28 is misleading, given the latter ran in inclement weather. Regardless, the GT500 seems to get almost identical time to ZL1 presumably on the same street tires and I believe the vid comparison gives it about 1:40-1:41 or so. How identical nobody knows (?), as the timer isn't shown. But, I found it fun to watch and fun to see how both cars respond differently in corners, etc. A supreme battle of 2 spectacular muscle cars at the Ring (if you watch the split screen version). Very entertaining!

Second, it's old news here.
Third, it was not a formal lap hence "nothing" about it (other than it's scarey just watching it) can be verified.
Now back to your local Z/28 program.
