My car is a 2010 SS, and after having my last mods done and after having gotten the car up to 717 from 608, I didn't realize what I was dealing with and like an amateur I hit the rev limit (which was programmed at 7100rpm) twice upon which the engine automatically went into limp mode. Switching the car off and back on got it back to normal however my rpm got restricted to 6200rpm. My tuner said a lot of technical stuff which I did not understand, however in short I did understand that GM ECU's for the Camaro tends to do that and what's annoying is that apparently it somewhat (don't quote me, I may have misunderstood) permanently locks itself at 6200 and does not easily allow you to retune it back to 7000+ rpm.

My tuner has said there is a solution however he does need some time to crack this.

Anybody have any idea what this is all about and if so, what is the solution to this problem? Because now at 6000rpm I'm making 660hp...I need to hit 6900 to make my 717 again

I look forward to you people's feedback.

Thanks in advance!!!
Your tuner missed some stuff in the tune, What software is he using, have him give me a call and I will help.

Ted.
